The Avicado team was coast to coast this quarter connecting with technology and industry thought leaders! Here are some highlights from our adventures.
Nick Caravella and Sarah Falk attended Infraday California in Los Angeles. Infraday gathers policymakers, industry experts, researchers, and stakeholders to address the urgent challenges facing California’s infrastructure and how these challenges can be addressed head on with innovative solutions and best practices.
Nick led a panel discussion with representatives from local government on Driving Efficiency and Service Excellence Through Digital Innovation. They discussed how digital transformation is revolutionizing public infrastructure projects, driving efficiency enhancements and elevating service standards in California and the benefit to both businesses and residents.

Justin Seymour and Christy Hunt traveled to Austin, TX to participate in the AEC Integration Summit, an initiative from the Construction Progress Coalition. The AEC Integration Summit allows participants to connect with like-minded construction technology professionals from different industry perspectives to solve the industry’s biggest interoperability challenges. Avicado sponsored the presentation on Keeping Up with Project Health Metrics – discussions centered around how to address the disconnect between financial, environmental and Indvidual wellness metrics.
The Avicado team joined our customers and partners in Cleveland at Trimble Innovate 2024. We had a great time sharing our customer’s stories in four breakout sessions. We sponsored an amazing evening in the Garage at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame – some of you have awesome musical talent! Most importantly, we were able to connect in person with the industry – learning more about how you’re adopting technology, what challenges you’re facing and finding ways for Avicado to help.
Nick, Sarah and Christy joined construction technology leaders in San Diego at Futuretech 2024. We chatted with attendees about their construction technology journey and met with construction innovators who are helping solve industry challenges. Nick joined a panel of experts from Trimble, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, and Dodge Construction Network to explore the trials and tribulations that have led their organizations and those they have worked with to successful outcomes, driving down construction costs and overall total cost of ownership of asset portfolios.
Nick hit the road again to Orlando, Florida to join our colleagues Kaylen Bushell, Jenna Gatwood, Mike Rubin, and Avidahn Levin at the 7×24 conference. With a focus on infrastructures that need to be in operation 7×24, we joined leaders from data centers, cybersecurity, network/telecommunication and more in learning about industry challenges and trends. We connected with customers and other technology professionals to help support these mission critical industries.
