Avicado on the Road

We had a busy event calendar to wind down 2023. We had a great time attending industry events, connecting with owners, and speaking at conference sessions.

Here’s our recap!

CMAA:

We were excited to sponsor CMAA in Washington DC. Nick Caravella and Christy Hunt spent time connecting with customers, partners, and other industry leaders to help them do more with their construction technology.

DBIA:

Nick continued his time in the nation’s capital by attending DBIA.  It’s a great show focusing on Design Build which is inherently collaborative – these are great spaces for conversations on how to improve data and workflow between Owners and GC’s.

COAA Fall Connect:

Avicado’s Mike Rubin and Dan Moskowitz spent time at COAA Fall Connect in Orlando, FL. We always enjoy catching up with customers like Anna from UMBC. Mike and Dan joined Nathan Wood from Construction Progress Coalition on an “Interoperability Workshop” where attendees teamed up to map “shared pains” that are restricting progress, diving into root cause to help find better and more efficient ways to enter, share, and leverage data.

Trimble e-Builder Regional User Groups:

Our team spent some time in Seattle and Dallas at the Trimble e-Builder Regional User Groups. Chelsea Cohen, Daniel Gerardo, Jillian Hayes and Justin Seymour led sessions on Business Intelligence and the e-Builder Data Warehouse.

Avicado Pitstop:

We wrapped up our event season with our annual company meeting, better known as Pitstop! This year marks our 6th Pitstop where we celebrate 2023 and plan for 2024. As a fully remote company, it’s also a great opportunity to spend time together in-person connecting with our fellow Avicadoans.

The theme for this year was “Better Together”, recognizing how our company as well as partner and client relationships are stronger and more impactful when we collaborate and work together.

It was a great 2023 event season. We attended over 20 conferences and local events this year – and we’ll definitely be hitting the road again in 2024. Is there an event you’re attending that you think we should check out? Drop us a line on LinkedIn and let us know. We hope to see you there!
