Avicado on the Road


With event travel slowing down, summer is a great time to unwind and recharge. We did still get out and about and participated in a few engaging industry events.

COAA eForum Xchange:

In July, Nick Caravella participated in the COAA eForum Xchange. It was a great place to have conversations with COAA members. Some key points covered:

  • Challenges Owner’s project delivery teams face when collaborating with non-construction facing departments.
  • How adopting a data strategy can enable a new approach in talking about the technology, people, and processes that power innovation.
  • Understanding what Owners are up to, where they are succeeding and what’s next.

Infraday Mountain States

Nick also participated in a panel on Climate- Resilient Infrastructure at Infraday Mountain States where we learned about climate strategy and how thoughtful design can improve not only our climate outcomes, but also how we live our everyday lives.

Hear how agencies like, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Denver Water, City and County of Denver, Denver Parks and Recreation are working together to respond to climate initiatives. Watch the session recording here!

What’s Next for Avicado?

We’re hitting the road this fall to Procore Groundbreak in Chicago and to CMAA in Washington, D.C. We really enjoy spending time with people in our industry learning more about the challenges they face, new ideas or even just to share fun stories.
