Chris brings more than 10 years of experience as a lead developer to Avicado’s growing engineering team. In his previous role at financial wellness startup Edukate, Chris worked with a small team to develop and extend a SaaS platform using Ruby/Rails and emberjs, with caching via Redis and persistence via Postgresql. He also has a strong background in implementing and integrating new systems, as well as mentoring younger developers in Ruby/Rails, JavaScript in the context of nodejs and emberjs, SQL, AWS service use patterns, and general good programming hygiene across all platforms and languages.
